The Shim-pack Scepter Diol HILIC column is optimized for use with hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC). This technique provides improved separation of hydrophilic and polar compounds that are not retained by reversed phase chromatography. The column phase consists of dihydroxypropyl groups, which are a standard for HILIC.
